Here's where you'll find Sunday Instagram Lives if:
You miss the live stream (it happens on Sundays at 1pm CDT)
You don't have social media.
BONUS: I have included my recipe for chicken stock. Learn to cook at home and make your own stock. It's a great way to use every part of the chicken so there's very little waste.
It's just below the video.
White Chicken Stock
Makes approximately 2 quarts
5 lbs chicken bones, coarsely chopped
8 oz mirepoix (1 onion, 3 carrots and 2 celery stalks, coarsely chopped)
5 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed lightly
1 bouquet garni (wrap fresh thyme, parsley, and 1 bay leaf in cheesecloth)
1 tbsp whole black peppercorns wrapped in a sachet
Cold water to cover
Rinse bones.
Cover with cold water.
Bring to a boil over moderate heat. Boil for 5 minutes. Pour off water and re-fill the pot with cold water to cover the bones.
Add remaining ingredients.
Simmer for 2½ to 3 hours, skimming frequently. Do not allow the stock to boil at any point.
Strain through a fine strainer and refrigerate.
